Matt Holdrege, Head of EMEA at BigTinCan, is an engineer/businessman who introduces new technology into the market via both technical standardisation and channel development. Matt has developed many standards at the ITU-T in Geneve, ETSI in France and IETF worldwide. Matt has worked in enterprise, large telecom operators, and vendors of telecommunications equipment for over 20 years and has assisted governments with legal issues related to VoIP. Matt has a degree from Southern Illinois University and is a past Senior member of the IEEE.

Peter M. Brak is a Partner within proaxia and Head of mobile business solutions. Peter has been working for many years in innovative and result driven companies. His drive for perfection was further developed during his years in the technical team of RED BULL SAUBER AG, Hinwil (Switzerland Formula 1), where he later served as CIO and assistant to the technical director. He later moved into consulting, being the project manager of complex international SAP projects across Europe and the Middle East. He holds a degree of Mech. Eng. HTL from the Technikum Winterthur and is a certified PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner in Project Management.

Iain Cooke
Iain is CTO at IMD and has a mission to make the best use of technology to enhance executive education. He led IMD’s pioneering use of iPads in education, deploying a custom app at OWP in 2010, less than three months after first availability of iPads in the USA, and mere weeks after launch in Europe. This formed part of a longer term re-engineering of IMD’s operational and learning support systems.

Prior to joining IMD in 2008, Iain worked in a variety of industries, always at the forefront of technology development and disruptive change. With a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Oxford, he began his career writing control software for the research project on nuclear fusion power at the Joint European Torus.  He earned a Masters and Doctorate in Robotics, and moved on to the application of cutting edge software technologies in first in manufacturing, and then in financial trading systems as the London financial industry began the migration to Canary Wharf.
In the early 90s, Iain co-founded a software start-up focused on mobile pen computing and geospatial solutions. The solution that he created enabled one customer, Ordnance Survey GB, to employ digital surveying on mobile computers and thus become the world’s first mapping agency to use a 100% digital map collection and production system, helping to bring about  a complete revolution of the industry of creating and consuming geographic information. The business became a recognised leader in the field with customers and partners spanning the globe.

coresystems – facts and visions

coresystems ag, headquartered in Windisch, Switzerland, was founded as a sole proprietor company in 2002 and since 2006 the company structure has been transformed into a joint stock company. With more than 5,500 customers (75,000 users) worldwide, coresystems ag is the leading supplier of standardized add-on solutions for SAP products aimed at small and medium-sized companies. Manuel Grenacher
Manuel Grenacher is the founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of coresystems ag.
After completing his secondary school education in Leuggern, he spent four years training to become an electrician at Studer Revox AG, simultaneously completing a course at the Technische Berufsmaturitätsschule (BMZ) [Technical Vocational School] in Zurich.
After successfully graduating from these programs, Grenacher attended the University of Applied Sciences (FHA) in Windisch, where he spent three years deepening his IT skills and also managing the sole proprietorship, coresystems.
Following this, he studied at the University of Applied Sciences (FHBB) in Muttenz for one year, focusing on e-business. Having also successfully completed this course of study and holding a degree in IT engineering, he brought three of his fellow-students on board and converted coresystems into a corporation.


Public transportation
If you travel to the event by public transportation, please take the train to Brugg (AG) - 24 minutes from Zürich HB. Coresystem ag kindly will provide a shuttle service from Brugg train station to Windisch (and back to Brugg train station after the close of the event), please look out for the Coresystem VW Bulli outside of the Brugg train station – see the attached picture.
